Policies
Direct Democracy
The final word on all policies is with the citizens who decide via the tools of direct democracy how they wish the nation to best proceed.
Free Speech
That Freedom of Speech be practiced in all venues and that Fact-Based discussions be encouraged across the nation, including the media. The culture of Direct Democracy will grow and flourish as individuals develop confidence and ability in the supportive environment, to participate in their nations affairs. Critical Thinking among all groups, with open and frank discussion of issues will improve our collective and individual relationship with the truth. Free Speech builds understanding and encourages peaceful behaviour, its practice matures the people’s appreciation for the benefits of Western Civilisation.
Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter
That we immediately accept the call to national unity through implementing a Pledge of Loyalty to the historic nation and flag of New Zealand. Furthermore, we commemorate and celebrate New Zealand’s adoption of Queen Victoria’s Royal Charter in May 1841. This Charter is the founding document of our nation and it blesses New Zealand with the English tradition of freedom, the sovereign unity of the Crown and People, and the tradition of English Law to protect the individual from State tyranny and oppression.
Foreign Ownership
That the people of our nation recognise and uphold the partnership of Farm and Town, rural and urban, as the essential relationship to guide our nation’s cultural traditions, economic prosperity, and ecologic well-being. Preservation of the nation’s agricultural and natural landscape is essential to our economy, security and lifestyle. Freehold land sales to foreign interests will be reversed.
Foreign State ownership as practiced (for example) by Chinese Communist Party agencies is a sinister form of Communist/imperialist colonisation and an insult to New Zealand citizen’s sovereignty. This invasive program must be eradicated root and branch by our citizens mobilising the powers of Direct Democracy to reclaim our land and country from all influences hostile to our nation’s unity.
Taxation
That the complex taxation system, which currently distorts our economic relations, be improved upon.
A) Multiple income earners should NOT be penalised for secondary and tertiary income at scaled increasing rates.
B) Large corporations should pay their fair share
C) Accountability for use of tax dollars by bureaucrats and government.
Treaties and Accords
That all international Treaties, Accords, Conventions, and Agreements, be subject to the ultimate test of serving our national sovereign interests. Should such arrangements fail to
serve our nation’s best interests, we will immediately abandon them. We must resist all foreign entities and influences that threaten our sovereignty.
Many citizens are seriously concerned about the agenda of the United Nations which imposes arrangements such as the Global Compact for Migration. The Labour/NZ First government has imposed this Agreement on the nation without consulting the People on a matter with direct impact on our nation’s sovereignty. Direct Democracy empowers individuals to block top-down attacks on our nation’s sovereignty and unity.
Immigration
That we immediately apply a moratorium on immigration – until we have exact data on the past 20 years influx and its cost-benefit to the average Kiwi. Immigration, its policy, and practice must be a fact-based activity, not an exercise in social engineering, conducted to enrich the elite few at the expense of the host population.
Laissez-faire immigration in the style of PMs Clark, Key and Adern, is dumping an extreme burden on our nation’s infrastructure i.e roads, housing, medical system, schools and social benefit subsidies. We the People were never consulted by those politicians who engineered this crisis.
It may come that repatriation measures be instituted by the People to redress the imbalances and stresses induced by those noticeable immigrants who come here to exploit and to take unfair advantage of our nation, rather than to enrich us all.
Defence
That in the interests of national defence, we immediately re-align our interests and forces with our historic and natural allies; Australia, the USA (ANZUS), Great Britain and Canada.
That our defence forces, their equipment and capabilities become inter-operable with our allies at a credible level. That we invest in and upgrade our services to meet the looming challenges ahead, in particular the aggressive, expansive intentions of Red China’s militaristic preparations.
The high-handed actions of Helen Clark as Prime Minister devastated the nation’s military defence capabilities. Clark’s destruction of the Air Force Skyhawk squadron was a grievous crime against the nation.
Direct Democracy by citizens is the ONLY guarantee against political meddling in our nation’s defence forces.
School
That all schools have the option of becoming Charter Schools, with incentivised parental involvement; that the core curriculum reverts to numeracy, literacy and English language. That politicised social- engineering projects on our school children be terminated, and that competency and excellence be praised and rewarded in both teachers and students.
Education of our children is a matter best managed by the citizens, who are parents and family members with the best grasp of children’s needs. Teachers are also individual voters.
Direct Democracy allows the people to protect their children and to promote the education curriculum which best meets their needs. This is the antidote to the politicised, sexualised, ideologically-driven content the politicians presently impose on children in the classrooms – without their parents being consulted as to the suitability of this content.
Welfare
That Social Welfare be a “hand up” not a “hand out” and a workable system of positive reinforcement, including tax incentives be adopted, with short and long-term strategies to bring people out of the dependency mind-set and its negative/entitlement culture.
Direct Democracy at the regional and local levels will likely prove a far better way to address human need and social responsibility than the present top-down system. Citizens have compassion for their fellows but are also inclined to expect welfare beneficiaries to take some responsibility for their predicament.
Much of the present dysfunction in the welfare system is the result of politicians meddling in society plus the fall-out of personal irresponsibility/bad decision making and some elements of misfortune.
Under Direct Democracy, how many citizens would vote that applicants who test positive for illegal drugs should be provided with welfare payments?
Health
That senior appointments to Health Boards and the Health Care system are operated by experienced health care professionals with a minimum of 10 years of practical medical experience plus 5 years of administrative experience.
The local and regional features of Direct Democracy bring an immediacy to health issues which may not be apparent at the national level. People will have a direct say in the operation of their local health services.
Citizens are ultimately responsible for their individual health.
A public debate and ongoing Free Speech discussion on Community health is the best antidote to top-down, one-size-fits-all approaches of the politicised health bureaucracy.
Personal and social health are important features of human life for proper maintenance of health supports personal freedom and the individual’s relationship with the truth. The individual’s immune system and vitality is the front-line of disease prevention.
The sheer size and scope of health budgets and the scale of the nation’s issues are matters better debated and decided by citizens at the local and regional levels.
Loyalty and Accountability
That Public Servants be required to swear and uphold an oath of Loyalty and Accountability to serve this nation to the highest level of their ability and efficiency. That they be objectively assessed accordingly, with consequences of penalty and removal if found in breach of their sworn standards.
Many citizens are interested to know the loyalty of elected representatives. For example, New Zealand’s interests suffer at the hands of those politicians who serve personal interests first, while acting under the influence of foreign and globalist agents. The current Political Party system favours deceit and duplicity at the expense of honesty, integrity and accountability.
Direct Democracy would strengthen the resolve of politicians to support the nation by stiffening the laws against treason, spying and corruption. The citizens would clarify the standards required for politicians to protect the nation and support Direct Democracy, such politicians become leaders and patriots.
Justice
That Government directs Courts to ensure that the punishment fits the crime and that the writ of habeas corpus be honoured in all instances. That prisons challenge prisoners with education programs, teach the work ethic and “Golden Rule” for morality, and provide incentives to modify inmate’s behaviour for positive outcomes and reduced recidivism.
Judges, as well as criminals, live in the same society as the rest of our citizens. It is only appropriate for citizens to advocate the principle of One Law for All while ensuring that such a standard be maintained in the Courtroom.
The institution of Direct Democracy will ensure that this very important aspect of Civil Society, our Justice system is transparent and that the law is applied to the fullest and fairest extent possible.
Family Housing
That the traditional family be honoured as the best model for bringing up children and that the community groups, Churches and institutions be encouraged to support the development of a healthy family-life culture.
The individual is nurtured within the family, so healthy, happy families support the production of positively-minded citizens, who in turn will make healthy choices for society. This is our model.
Direct Democracy makes possible the participation of individuals who make responsible choices from the local to regional to national levels of society. This is the best possible way to direct political affairs to support healthy family life and to minimize the negative impact of top-down decision making by Party politicians who mostly show no practical interest in the betterment of family life.
Housing
That affordable, quality housing be seen as an essential foundation for family independence and the market be directed to a realistic level where an average 3 bedroom family home is priced approximately 4 x the average working person’s income.
Foreign-held freehold property is to be returned to New Zealand ownership, under a leasehold-only policy for foreign absentee investors.
Local control of housing is best controlled by citizens with a strong interest in maintaining the quality of life in their communities. Direct Democracy empowers citizens to over-rule the manipulation of housing markets by banks, financiers and outside interests who would exploit individuals and families for selfish gains.
